Tim Wakeham
Tim Wakeham grew up in the rolling hills and dense forests along Lake Superior. Tim grew up in the city of Houghton, Michigan. Houghton is a city of approximately 8,000 people. Tim came from a middle-class family. He was raised by Dan who worked as a social worker at a medical care facility and Donna who worked as a social worker for the state of Michigan. Tim also has a sister Sherry who is two years younger. Tim graduated from Houghton High which is where his passion for leadership began.
Tim went on to earn an Associate’s degree from Suomi College, a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University and Master’s degree from the University of North Dakota.

Additionally, Tim has a gift for being able to translate the latest research so that clients can quickly apply the knowledge and accelerate mission progress. Tim is currently in a doctoral program studying leadership psychology and neuroscience.

Working with a very dynamic team to launch a new and exciting concept in healthcare (HealthQuarters). Prior to this role, was CEO of Fortis Healthcare, one of the most respected and largest private hospital operators in the world.
From 2015 - 2011
Between 2011 and 2015, Mr. Singh was with Ahold and a member of the Executive Board. At the time of his departure, He was the Chief Executive Officer of Fresh Formats Inc, a Ahold Company and also Head of US Operations for Ahold USA. Immediately prior to that, He was the EVP of HR for Ahold USA.
From 2011 - 2009
From January 2009 to January, 2011, Mr. Singh was the CEO of New Delhi based Fortis Healthcare (publicly traded company), the fastest growing health care provider in Asia with 50 hospitals and over 10,000 beds. Prior to that, He was with Reliance Industries for almost three years and was the CEO of Reliance Fresh leading the effort to open almost 700 new stores in less than two years. Left Reliance in January 2009 at which time was responsible for over 900 stores.
Past
Before Mr. Singh’s overseas experience in India, He spent 15 plus years with one of the largest retailers in the United States and had several executive level roles up to and including President of a multi-billion dollar business. Mr. Singh voluntarily left in 2006 for an international assignment in Asia.
From there Tim continued to hone his coaching skills and leadership knowledge. Over the next twenty years Tim taught coaching at the collegiate level as an adjunct faculty instructor. Simultaneously, Tim acquired more coaching experience in the corporate setting (e.g., Stealth Enterprises among others), the armed forces (e.g., U.S. Air Force Tactical Commander Cadre, and from former special operators), the UFC (i.e., helping coach Rashad Evans for his fight with Chuck Liddell), the NFL (e.g., Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Minnesota Vikings), the NHL (e.g., Nashville Predators), the Olympic (e.g., resident boxers) and collegiate, sectors. Tim has mentored thousands of people, worked with hundreds of teams, and been a sage confidant to hundreds of leaders. Tim was also celebrated as a master coach in 2010 by his professional coaching organization.
Tim has published over 30 commercial articles, including two national cover articles, three book chapters, and one scientific journal article. Additionally, Tim has spoken at over 60 national and regional coaching conferences and clinics around the United States on topics such as elite leadership and impactful communication.
Furthermore, Tim loves a good adventure and his “has done” list compares favorably to his coaching resume. Some highlights include scuba diving in the Bahamas; attending mass at the Vatican; taking a cooking class in Tuscany; ascending the Swiss Alps; having dinner on the river Seine; leading a toast on the Grand Canal in Venice; swimming with dolphins in Florida; enjoying the thermal baths of Baden-Baden, Germany; having dinner with the cast of Cirque, Mystere in Vegas; exploring the catacombs of Paris; zip-lining in the Las Vegas; wine tasting in southern France; and racing down the Hudson in a jet-powered speed boat in New York, City!
